The place we had the party was SO awesome! A couple in our ward own this property called Buffalo Ranch. You drive in the through the gate and drive past a small lake, then after the lake is their HUGE house, then behind the house is another sort of guest house type of thing and that is where we had the party. The patio of this little guest house had a fireplace and cool lights everywhere. We had the party out on the patio cause you know...it's Texas and we can still party outside at night...it only got a little bit cold. THEN behind that little guest house is a little office building where they work from and behind that is a HUGE barn where they keep all their horses. They raise cutting horses and I think she said they just started raising reigning horses as well. Pretty much their property is so much fun and I wish it had been light enough outside to take pictures of! Some day I'll get my amazing home and ranch!

Growing Pains
Last night I could not sleep to save my life!! My stomach was SO sore! It was like I had done an intense ab work out! Then I woke up and found my stomach was twice the size as it was when i went to bed...it must have been hard at work all night! I text Travis and told him but I don't think he really believed me until he got home and saw for himself. He told me at least people will know I'm pregnant now instead of just looking like I've got a gut. What a sweetheart he is... :) As much as I hate pictures of myself I'm posting one for all those back home! I'm 21 weeks now...next week I will be 5 months and I'll have another doctors appointment! I'm slowly getting closer and closer to having her here!

We are having a......
GIRL!!!!! My sonnogram was today and we got a VERY clear shot that it's a girl!! Travis was able to take some time off class so he got to actually see her and hear the heart beat for the first time! All the organs are looking very healthy and she is measuring perfectly for how far along I am....which is 19 weeks! We are soooo excited and can't wait to start buying stuff to finally fill our empty spare room!! She has also been turning into quite the little kicker....it must come from her soccer playing daddy. I've been starting to be able to tell the difference between a kick or if it's just her rolling around and it's so much fun! I can't wait for Travis to actually be able to feel her!
This is her looking up at the camera with her hands up by her face on both sides. I love her little alien looking eyes!
Side view of her cute little face. :)
This one kind of uploaded blurry and you can't really see the writing but it's the picture showing that she's a girl.
Last but not least here is my baby bump at 19 weeks for all of you that have been asking for a picture. Sorry it's so awkward but I had to take it myself and I didn't want my face in it...I'll have to have Travis take a better one sometime.

First Doctor Appointment!!
I'm 13 weeks and I finally made it to my doctor!! He said the baby is looking perfectly healthy and strong!! It was so much fun to be able to finally see it and see the little heart beating away. For some reason I had this fear walking into the appointment that they would do the ultra sound and not find anything and that it was all in my imagination...but nope!! Right when he put the thing on my stomach a little baby popped up on the screen! My doctor is amazing! He is a professor at Trav's school and he really takes the time to sit and talk with you and answer any questions. He made me feel like I was his first patient ever because he was so excited about every step we were doing in the appointment. He just kept telling me how amazing it is to have kids and that I will never regret doing it!! He also said that he really believes in the miracle of having babies naturally so he won't suggest a C-section unless I absolutely need one...which I love!! He also said that if he's not at the hospital he will usually just let the on-call doctor do the delivery but since Travis is a med student he WILL be there for my delivery. He said he really likes to be able to support people going through medical school wether it's doctors or nurses and so he likes to give those people extra special treatment. :)
I also found out that I lost 10 pounds from the constant throwing up I was doing (thank goodness I'm past that!) so the doctor said he would be more happy if I gained around 35 pounds instead of the 25 he usually tells people to gain. Fine by me!!! I'll just eat my little heart out and enjoy every second of it!!
Travis and I are already so in love with this baby!! And as you can tell from the picture it is already adorable....it will have everyone wrapped around it's little fingers in no time!!
Well I'll have my next appointment October 7th and have my major sonnogram done so hopefully we'll know what gender it is next month!! We'll keep you updated!

BIG Changes!!!!
I know it has been a while since I last posted and a lot has happened!! Since the last post we got married, got pregnant, and moved to our new home in Fort Worth, Texas!! Our wedding was amazing!! It was so good to have ALL our family there together! The whole day was sort of a blur and I don't even know what was served at our reception, but I couldn't have asked for a more perfect day!
And yes you heard me! We have having a baby March 5, 2011! Our plans originally were to wait 6 months-1 year-1 1/2 years....basically it was still up in the air. But a month after we were married I got a VERY strong feeling that someone was waiting up there for us and we needed to get our family started. Travis of course freaked out at first...like any man would...but after he prayed about it he agreed that it was time. At least it will give me something to do while he's in school!
Last of all, we finally made the 22ish hour drive to our new home in Texas. What a fun drive that was!! No one bothered to tell me you get car sick when your pregnant! Luckily we had both our parents help us move here so I didn't have to do to much work! Travis had orientation July 19-23, had his white coat ceremony July 24, and he started his classes July 25. We have already met some really nice people here...mainly people Trav goes to school with. There are 3 other LDS students in his entire class so we'll be with them lots I'm sure.
There are lots of fun things to do here....if we could do them! We live 15-20 minutes from six flags, the cowboy stadium, rangers stadium, and a huge water slide park. And we are about 5 minutes from the Fort Worth zoo and downtown Fort Worth. You just have to be willing to brave the heat and humidity to go do those things....oh...and it would help to not be on a med school budget or be pregnant! I'm sure we'll at least make it to six flags sometime in the 4 years we'll be here!
Well that's all the updates I have for now! I'll try to get pictures up soon of our townhome! For now you can just enjoy Travis in his new white coat!

ENGAGED!!!!
On Friday (Nov. 13th) Travis picked me up from work so that we could go spend the night at his parents. We were going there to go to the Temple to do their family names and then he also had to help his dad pour concrete on Saturday morning. After we went to the Temple Travis said we should go out to eat dinner because I got a new job and we needed to celebrate. We went to his house and showered and got ready and then got in the car to go. Then Trav said "I think we should go to the store before we go eat so that we don't have to go after and we can just go straight home." Right...I was starving so of course I told him we should just go after. But he wouldn't listen. So we went to Target, I hurried and got what I needed, and wanted to hurry and leave. But Trav thought it would be a good time to look at TV's. I of course got mad again because why would we want a TV from Target?....and I was hungry! So I finally got him to leave and when we got in the car he said he forgot his wallet and we needed to go get it at the house. When we got back to the house I walked in and there was a candlelight dinner with Olive Garden and flowers that his brothers had set up for us. I then realized why he was being so difficult! So Travis took me over to the table and told me he wasn't going to make me eat before doing it. He told me all his feelings for me and how much he loved me and then said "well I guess there is just one thing missing," which is when he got down on one knee and pulled out my GORGEOUS ring! And here we are engaged now!! Travis enjoyed the Olive Garden but as hungry as I had been I seemed to lose my appetite! I was too excited and shaky to eat...so he ate and I called family! After it was all said and done I started asking questions like when he got the ring and when he talked to my dad. Turns out he talked to my dad that day right before he picked me up from work so that my dad didn't have time to blab! Haha. Even though I was expecting to get engaged sometime he still managed to surprise me! I had no clue it was happening until I saw the table all set up! We didn't have a camera so I didn't get pictures of the table or anything....but just believe me that it was amazing!
Our wedding will be on April 24, 2010 in the Draper Temple. It is the day after Travis graduates so we will be extra busy that week! I can't wait though! I'm the luckiest girl alive to get to spend the rest of my life with Travis!! Now to make things perfect it would be nice to find out where we are going to live. So far he has been accepted to Iowa, Michigan, and Texas...we still won't know about the U until March or April. But we will keep you updated! :)

Much needed update! :)
Holy freak life has been so busy!! But I thought I'd catch all of you up on the amazing adventures I have had!! First of all...my amazing boyfriend, Travis took me to California for a weekend to visit his sister and her kids. It was SOOO much fun! Travis's brother-in-law works as an accountant for Disneyland so we got into Disneyland AND California Adventures for FREE!!!! It was soo much fun to spend time with Travis's sister and her adorable kids! And of course...we had a day at the beach too. :)

Then the weekend after we got back from California Travis took me to the Jimmy Wayne/Dierks Bentley/Brad Paisley concert. He got me the tickets for my birthday clear back in July but we finally got to go!! Our seats were SO close so it was a lot of fun! They were so entertaining and we were laughing the entire time!! So worth going to!!!

We had some pretty good times. Now we are both back to reality with work and Trav at school. He is graduating this April with an Economics major and then heading to Medical School next Fall. He is doing all his interviews for medical school right now so it's been a little stressful. He interviewed at University of Utah but won't find out if he is accepted until MARCH! Pretty lame. But in the meantime he has more interviews with Texas and Iowa so far. I'm pulling for the U...but we will see what happens! Pretty much he is the best thing that has ever happened to me so I will follow him wherever he goes! :) Well love you all and hope you enjoyed the update!
