ENGAGED!!!!

So many people have been asking for the engagement story so here ya go!
On Friday (Nov. 13th) Travis picked me up from work so that we could go spend the night at his parents. We were going there to go to the Temple to do their family names and then he also had to help his dad pour concrete on Saturday morning. After we went to the Temple Travis said we should go out to eat dinner because I got a new job and we needed to celebrate. We went to his house and showered and got ready and then got in the car to go. Then Trav said "I think we should go to the store before we go eat so that we don't have to go after and we can just go straight home." Right...I was starving so of course I told him we should just go after. But he wouldn't listen. So we went to Target, I hurried and got what I needed, and wanted to hurry and leave. But Trav thought it would be a good time to look at TV's. I of course got mad again because why would we want a TV from Target?....and I was hungry! So I finally got him to leave and when we got in the car he said he forgot his wallet and we needed to go get it at the house. When we got back to the house I walked in and there was a candlelight dinner with Olive Garden and flowers that his brothers had set up for us. I then realized why he was being so difficult! So Travis took me over to the table and told me he wasn't going to make me eat before doing it. He told me all his feelings for me and how much he loved me and then said "well I guess there is just one thing missing," which is when he got down on one knee and pulled out my GORGEOUS ring! And here we are engaged now!! Travis enjoyed the Olive Garden but as hungry as I had been I seemed to lose my appetite! I was too excited and shaky to eat...so he ate and I called family! After it was all said and done I started asking questions like when he got the ring and when he talked to my dad. Turns out he talked to my dad that day right before he picked me up from work so that my dad didn't have time to blab! Haha. Even though I was expecting to get engaged sometime he still managed to surprise me! I had no clue it was happening until I saw the table all set up! We didn't have a camera so I didn't get pictures of the table or anything....but just believe me that it was amazing!
Our wedding will be on April 24, 2010 in the Draper Temple. It is the day after Travis graduates so we will be extra busy that week! I can't wait though! I'm the luckiest girl alive to get to spend the rest of my life with Travis!! Now to make things perfect it would be nice to find out where we are going to live. So far he has been accepted to Iowa, Michigan, and Texas...we still won't know about the U until March or April. But we will keep you updated! :)

Much needed update! :)

Holy freak life has been so busy!! But I thought I'd catch all of you up on the amazing adventures I have had!! First of all...my amazing boyfriend, Travis took me to California for a weekend to visit his sister and her kids. It was SOOO much fun! Travis's brother-in-law works as an accountant for Disneyland so we got into Disneyland AND California Adventures for FREE!!!! It was soo much fun to spend time with Travis's sister and her adorable kids! And of course...we had a day at the beach too. :)Then the weekend after we got back from California Travis took me to the Jimmy Wayne/Dierks Bentley/Brad Paisley concert. He got me the tickets for my birthday clear back in July but we finally got to go!! Our seats were SO close so it was a lot of fun! They were so entertaining and we were laughing the entire time!! So worth going to!!!
We had some pretty good times. Now we are both back to reality with work and Trav at school. He is graduating this April with an Economics major and then heading to Medical School next Fall. He is doing all his interviews for medical school right now so it's been a little stressful. He interviewed at University of Utah but won't find out if he is accepted until MARCH! Pretty lame. But in the meantime he has more interviews with Texas and Iowa so far. I'm pulling for the U...but we will see what happens! Pretty much he is the best thing that has ever happened to me so I will follow him wherever he goes! :) Well love you all and hope you enjoyed the update!

Swing Dancing! :)

For those of you that don't know...I'm a bit obsessed with Country Dancing. I go every week in Provo and I LOVE it!! Sometimes it gets a little intense. For instance, last week I was doing a lift where I stand right in front of the guy and he gives me a boost and I do a back flip over his head. We did fine the first two times...but the third time ended badly and I ended up with two broken fingers on my right hand and a hurt ankle. SO worth it!!! It was just hard to not go dancing for a week! But I toughed it out and went anyways last night. I usually like dancing with the instructor, Ed. He coached gymnastics for a few years so I trust him lifting me. Here is a video of us just messing around with some lifts. As you can tell...it's still a work in progress :)

This next video is of me and some guy Ed made me do some lifts with. I'm not sure what his name is...but he is good!
