I moved to Texas to get away from snow....but it seemed to follow me! Only difference is if it sticks at all here EVERYTHING shuts down!! Trav's school was cancelled yesterday and today...he might be a little stressed cause he has a test on Monday and has to learn everything on his own now...but I think it's been great that he's been forced to stay home with me for a couple days!! We've slept in, cooked dinner together, played games, AND he helped me clean! It feels like I'm actually married for once! :) It's just hard to believe that it was 80 degrees on Saturday and now we have this....but luckily it's supposed to be back in the 60's this weekend. Talk about bipolar weather!!

View outside our bedroom window looking the other way. That hill is our only way out and it is solid ice...so we are trapped at home for a few days until it melts. It has been pretty entertaining to watch car after car try to make it up the hill and get stuck like these ones or slide all the way back down.
Snow day #2 and more cars stuck. You would think if you saw other cars stuck you wouldn't even try! Maybe since the ice is still here Trav's school will get cancelled again tomorrow and he'll be forced to spend another day with me.... :)
